A free licence for the local engine, sent to your email once you confirm it. The engine runs on your machine; the only thing it ever sends us is a daily licence beacon, and — only if you choose it below — a report of which rules fired, never what they said.

The local engine is free for the research preview, and your licence carries that preview's expiry date. A paid control plane will be offered later. You are never obliged to take it, and nothing you have is taken away.
